The PTO is an organization of parents and teachers whose goal is to help the teachers do their job of educating our children. We do this by helping to provide items and events that may not be in the school budget. Did you know that the PTO: buys the agendas every year, prepares meals on nights the staff stays for evening events, hosts the dances and field days, helps fund the National Junior Honor Society, buys sporting equipment, funds students reward and incentive programs, runs the school store, provides the gardening and beautification, fulfills teacher requests for educational items, runs the security desk, funds fields trips and much more. We can only do these things with your support. Remember all the support that you provide goes directly to A. G. Wright so please take part in our fundraisers and feel free to join us.
Group Announcements COOKIES! This year as a special holiday gift for the teachers we are asking everyone to send in a dozen or two of their favorite cookies, a cake, a pie, or even a quick bread for the teachers to enjoy the day before VACATION starts! Please bring in or send in your treats by Tuesday morning, December 20, 2011. Items may be dropped off the day before if need be. You can also click the link on the right side of the page to fill out a simple form to let us know what you are sending in!
Thank you for your support of AGW!!!  Yankee Candle Fundraiser winner!!!! Congratulations to 8th grader Bethany Marshall for winning the iPod Touch from the PTO!! Each student received a raffle ticket, for every $50.00 of product they sold, to be entered into a drawing to win the iPod Touch.
